best article about how to build immune systemHow to Build Up Your Immune System Naturally with these StepsDr Charles Buchar | 05th May 2010When you feel run down and tired continually, there's a good chance you need to build up your immune system. Here are a few things that just strength helps you. As always, if you have allergies or any kind of food intolerance, ask your doctor before trying any things that are new to you - especially herbal supplements! Herbs all have hopeful and negative side effects - even if "Natural"! Even nightshade and arsenic are natural. Boosting the Immune System: - The Immune System is the body's defense device to handle invaders. It is an amazing work of nature. It does a very good job of fighting off illnesses and infections when it is in good condition. The way it works is beyond the scope of this article as it is highly complex and finely tuned. Unluckily, when it is not in peak condition, your immune system can fail to function as well as it should. Start with the Basics: - ⢠Are you drinking at least 6 8-oz glasses of water every day? Staying hydrated is a very important key in maintaining good health. ⢠Are you getting enough fiber? Fiber keeps you feeling full and keeps your digestive system (the key to good immunity) healthy so it can properly function by extracting nutrients your body needs. ⢠Are you eating enough fresh fruits and vegetables, especially those colored dark green and orange? These improve your immunity greatly. ⢠Are you getting enough sleep? Studies prove that people who get adequate sleep are healthier and happier. ⢠How about exercise? Daily exercise gives you energy and keeps your entire system healthier. Just a few minutes of walking will help. If possible, more is even better. How to Avoid Immune System: - ⢠Get eight to ten hours of sleep. Your body is better able to repair itself while it's at rest. By providing your body with enough sleep you help your immune system heal itself much faster. ⢠Exercise regularly. Physical exertion improves your immune system and contributes to good health. Begin slowly and include at least 30 minutes of exercise or activity into your day. ⢠Drink plenty of water. This is especially significant if you've had a stomach virus. If your body becomes dehydrated your immune system will have to work extra hard to repair itself. Eight eight-ounce glasses of water per day is optional. If you have a hard time drinking enough water, try sucking on some Pedialyte popsicles or ice. ⢠Take vitamin supplements. Vitamin D, vitamin C and zinc are proven immune system boosters. Begin taking a daily multivitamin to improve your body's defenses. Talk with your doctor or a pharmacist before starting supplements especially if you're taking other medications. ⢠Take a multivitamin. Your doctor can inform you as to which is the best brand for you. Multivitamins are especially formulated to hold up the health needs of women, men, children and seniors. A good multivitamin can help build up the necessary disease-fighting elements in your body. You may be interested in reading and . Also visit more on Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , |
